GuessPal is licensed to you, not sold, through the App Store under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add to that agreement; where they conflict, Apple’s EULA applies.

GuessPal is a “who am I?” guessing game for iPhone and iPad. The core game runs offline with the content bundled in the app. Online parts (the daily ranked challenge, leaderboards, weekly results and the GuessPal+ subscription) need an internet connection and may change, pause or be updated from time to time. We may require a newer app version to keep using online features.

• GuessPal+ is an auto-renewing subscription offered monthly and yearly. The price and length are shown in the app before you buy; the price can differ by country and currency.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings on your iPhone (Settings > your name > Subscriptions), or from the App Store. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period; deleting the app or your GuessPal account does not cancel it.
• If a free trial or introductory offer is shown, an unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules; request one through Apple’s “Report a problem”.
• Restore purchases in You > Settings > GuessPal+ brings your membership back on a new device with the same Apple Account.

You can play without GuessPal+. The free version has a daily round limit, and some game modes, scenes and icons unlock with GuessPal+. The app shows these limits clearly before you reach them.

An account is created only when an online feature or a purchase needs one. You are responsible for what you do with it. You can delete it at any time in You > Settings > Account > Delete account; the Privacy Policy explains what is deleted.

The daily ranked challenge allows one try per day (the day changes at 00:00 UTC) and the same card for everyone in a region group. Scores are calculated by our server. To join, you choose a public nickname. Names that insult, express hate, reveal personal information or impersonate someone else are not allowed. We review reported names and change them if needed. We may void attempts, remove leaderboard records or suspend accounts that try to manipulate results or break these rules.

Cards mention films, artists, athletes, places and similar subjects for a guessing game. These names and works belong to their owners, and GuessPal is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. We work to keep card facts accurate; if you spot a mistake, tell us. The app, its design and its content are protected by copyright and remain ours or our licensors’.

Please do not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, use bots or tools to play ranked attempts, disrupt our servers, or use GuessPal for anything unlawful.

GuessPal is provided “as is”, and we cannot promise that online features will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our liability for a paid subscription is limited to the amount you paid for the current period. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or liability that cannot be limited.

You can stop using GuessPal and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

If we change these terms we publish the new version on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use GuessPal after that means you accept the new terms.
